We are seeking an experienced Odoo Development Manager to lead our dynamic team of developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining Odoo applications. This role is pivotal in driving our software development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring we meet our strategic goals and maintain high standards of software quality.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Odoo developers, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and productivity.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while meeting functional and technical requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives
- Odoo Customization and Deployment: Lead efforts in customizing and deploying Odoo modules according to project needs and client specifications
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality and robustness through regular reviews and adherence to best practices in software development.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure that all third-party elements work seamlessly with internal systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying the latest in technology trends and innovations in the Odoo ecosystem.
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Experience: Minimum of 7 plus years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role specifically with Odoo.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and other technologies relevant to Odoo development. Strong understanding of business processes related to modules such as CRM, Sales, Accounting, Inventory, and HR.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong emphasis on precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with teams across different departments and with external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
Nice to have
- Certifications: Certifications in Odoo or Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum Master).
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with ERP Systems: Prior experience with ERP systems implementation, particularly with Odoo, is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills
