As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions using Azure technologies. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to build scalable and efficient data systems that meet our clients' business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Synapse, and ADF (Azure Data Factory)
- Create and manage notebooks in Databricks, utilizing PySpark and Spark SQL for data processing and transformation.
- Design and implement Synapse pipelines and data integration workflows
- Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines and systems
- Develop strategies for performance improvement and ensure the quality of data.
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering role
- Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Synapse pipelines, and ADF pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
